Financial assistance from the province: flood victims can now register

People whose properties were damaged during the violent June 29 storm can now register with the New Brunswick government to be eligible for the assistance fund at the following number: 1-888-298-8555.

A few reminders:

contact your insurance company to report the damage;

take photos of the damage to your home or property;

keep receipts for any repairs and purchases of replacement items;

keep a record of the number of hours it takes you to clean your property, as well as the hours of family members and anyone else who helps you.
