ALERT: fake telecommunications company representatives are currently going door to door in Edmundston

The Edmundston Police Force wishes to inform citizens that representatives of a company specializing in telecommunications are currently going door to door, without being legally authorized to do so. These representatives, who ask to speak to residents, are not authorized to perform this type of service on behalf of this company.

Do not give money or information to such representatives. As a consumer, you also have the right to refuse them access to your home and ask to speak to their employer.

Learn about your rights and how to avoid becoming a victim of fraud when purchasing a product or service from a home sales representative and most of all talk about it with your friends and loved ones.
