Annie Côté, new Director of the Edmundston Arts and Culture Department

The Edmundston City Council has approved the appointment of Annie Côté to the position of Director of the Arts and Culture Department and the Arts Centre.

"Well known in the community, Annie Côté comes to us with a wealth of experience that will allow the Edmundston Arts and Culture Department to progress, both within the municipal organization and in the community. We are convinced that Mrs. Côté will be able to put her knowledge and her mobilizing leadership to good use in the Arts and Culture Department and the Arts Centre," commented Edmundston Mayor Eric Marquis.

Annie Côté is well-known in the community as the dynamic former owner of Atelier d'À Côté, an art and creative products boutique in downtown Edmundston. In addition to being a seasoned entrepreneur, Mrs. Côté was until recently a human resources and project management consultant for various organizations, including the Vitalité Health Network, where she worked with teams to improve human resources services. She also held the position of Director of Human Resources for Les Résidences Jodin.

A native of Edmundston, Mrs. Côté is passionate about team and event management. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with specializations in human resources management and marketing from the University of Ottawa. Among her activities, she is a member of the Bob-Fife Foundation board.

Mrs. Côté will take office on March 20.
