Watch out for thin ice!

The City of Edmundston advises snowmobilers that the ice condition on the Madawaska River between the Fournier Bridge and the Boucher Bridge is fragile at all times due to the proximity of the hydroelectric dam.

Snowmobilers are asked to avoid this area at all times because of the dangers associated with riding on thin ice.

The City of Edmundston thanks snowmobilers for their understanding and for continuing to ride safe.
