The population of the City of Edmundston and surrounding areas, as well as tourists passing through our region, now have access to a brand new Web platform containing information about our parks and green spaces. Since the City of Edmundston manages several parks and green spaces over a vast territory, and that each one has a particular vocation, this platform now makes it possible to find all the information in one place.
The Web platform for parks and green spaces is hosted on the City of Edmundston’s website and includes information under the following headings:
Each park and green space is identified by a photo and is located on a geographical map. By clicking on a photo, a complete description of the park or green space appears on the screen.
"This initiative facilitates City of Edmundston’s accessibility and availability of information to our citizens and to anyone who visits the region. All while encouraging more people to do outdoor activities," explains Daniel Gautreau, Green Spaces Coordinator.
This platform is interactive and allows updates according to changes made in parks and green spaces. Citizens can suggest changes to the platform by making a request to public works or by sending an email to the green spaces’ coordinator at the address below. The identified modification must include the problem to be corrected as well as a suggestion to rectify it.
