Edmundston Energy continues tree pruning work

As part of its annual vegetation control program, Edmundston Energy is now pruning trees near the power distribution network in various sectors of the municipality.

This pruning work, which began a few weeks ago, has been slowed down due to snow removal efforts throughout the municipal territory

However, this preventive work seems to give good results. “We currently have very few outages caused by branches on the power lines. We are therefore continuing our efforts in this direction,” explains Edmundston Energy Director Pierre Roy.
