Fire hydrant inspection underway

The Public Works Department is currently carrying out its annual hydrant inspection. The Edmundston East sector was completed on November 2.

Today, November 3, crews will be working on Saint-François Street from downtown to Philippe Street, including streets perpendicular to Saint-François Street.

If time permits, work will also be carried out on Bellevue Street and the St-Mary's school sector. Otherwise, this area will be inspected on Monday, November 6.

You may notice a drop in water pressure or that the water is becoming cloudy or discoloured. To remedy this situation, simply run your cold water tap until the water runs clear before washing or cooking.

If the change in water pressure or colour persists for more than a few hours, please contact the Public Works Department at 506.739.2103.
