The City of Edmundston, in collaboration with Downtown Edmundston and the Edmundston-Madawaska Tourism Office, invites you to the 2023 Christmas Parade on Saturday, November 18th, starting at 7 p.m. This year, the parade will start near 37th Avenue (in front of UNI Financial Corporation offices on Victoria Street); then the Fournier Bridge and de l’Église Street, to end downtown Edmundston, at City Hall Square.
Throughout the route, several free hot chocolate stations will be set up. We invite you to bring a non-perishable food item or a new toy, for a chance to win one of the many participation prizes.
After the parade, at City Hall Square, downtown Edmundston and the Christmas tree will be lit up, and participation prizes given. This will be the official launch of the 4th edition of The Great Holiday Spree (formerly known as The Elves Hopping Spree).
During The Great Holiday Spree, come rediscover downtown Edmundston dressed in festive lights, with its Christmas scenes displays and, fill your ears with ambient music 12 hours a day! Activities will take place from mid-November until Christmas. Street animation will amaze you from December 1st to 16th, as well as the free musical performances presented in the giant igloo, every Friday evening.
New activities have been created for children, including festive face painting and story time with Maman Noël.
Come join us!
