Pumpkin Day 2022: two days of activities at Artisans’ Square

The 24th edition of Pumpkin Day will be held at Artisans’ Square on Saturday, September 24th, from noon to 5 p.m. and Sunday, September 25th, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The public is invited to meet the artisans and watch the crowning of the largest pumpkin. Admission is free.

The activities

About thirty artisans, producers and food vendors will occupy the booths in Artisan's Square. Apples will be on available, as well as autumn decorations and handicrafts - a great opportunity to support local products! The band INTERFACE will be playing the best of rock from the 60s to the 80s on Saturday.

Giant Pumpkins

The arrival of the giant pumpkins will take place on Sunday and the official weigh-in at 2 p.m.  Once again this year, results will be registered with the Great Pumpkin Commonwealth, an international organization that ensures fairness and camaraderie between the different competition sites. Interested parties can still register their pumpkin for the competition by contacting the Edmundston Arts Centre at 506-739-2127, no later than Friday, September 23rd.
