The City of Edmundston updates its online billing and payment system

The City of Edmundston updates its online billing and payment system

In July 2023, the City of Edmundston Council authorized an investment to update its billing and payment system. The old system was becoming obsolete, and this modernization better meets the needs of the municipality's residents.

For years, residents have been able to pay their electricity, water, and sewer bills in a variety of ways. The new client portal offers many benefits, thus optimizing the efficiency of the Finance Department's service offerings, maximizing citizen engagement, and helping the environment, since once registered, there is no longer a paper bill.

*It is important to have your customer account number on hand for registration.

If you don't have it, please contact us at 506.739.2118*

1 - If you were registered with the municipality's online billing system, you must re-register on the new platform to keep your history and benefit from new advantages at mybill.edmundston.ca

2 - If you were not yet registered with the municipality's online billing system, you can register on the new platform now to benefit from new advantages at mybill.edmundston.ca

3 - If you don't have internet access or if you have difficulty navigating, you can continue to receive your paper bill. If this is the case, no action is required on your part.

4 - To set up direct payment, simply bring a voided check to the City Hall cash counter. You can also call us for assistance to register on the mybill.edmundston.ca platform.

Benefits of re-registering/registering:

- Register once (single or multiple accounts)

- Pay your bill online with or without an account

- Give access to a family member or friend

- Get visual analyses of your consumption

- Sign up for monthly pre-authorized debits by bank account or credit card

- Help the planet – go paperless!

The steps to register on the new platform are presented in an explanatory video at the bottom of the screen at mybill.edmundston.ca

With your account/client number on hand, you'll only have to follow a few steps and you're done!
