The City of Edmundston would like to thank the citizens for their understanding and patience during these difficult times. You should know that municipal services are deployed to the maximum on the territory to ensure the health and safety of the population and to carry out cleaning work of our infrastructures and roads.

The Public Works Department is aware of water infiltration and possible backflows in several residences. For those who have not yet reported these infiltrations and backflows, please contact the Department at 506.739.2103. A claims adjuster will then contact you to make an appointment within a reasonable time limit.

It is very important to document the damages, losses and interventions carried out in your residence, by taking photos, and by listing the material affected and any infrastructural damage. Afterwards, you should contact your insurance company.

You can put the damaged materials by the side of the road, special collections will be made shortly. You will be informed via our social networks.

For now, the main objective of the municipality is to protect the population and to ensure your health and safety. In addition, the municipality is currently working with the provincial and federal governments to obtain financial assistance for the disaster victims.
