Important Reminder – Winter Parking

With the arrival of winter, the City of Edmundston would like to remind residents of the parking regulations currently in effect.

From November 15 to April 15, on-street parking is prohibited between midnight and 7 a.m. This measure allows Public Works crews to carry out safe and efficient snow removal and de-icing operations.

Downtown Area

In the downtown area, parking is allowed at all times, except when the flashing lights on the snow removal indicator signs are activated. These signs are located near the Fournier and Boucher bridges, on Canada Road, and on D’Amours Street. The flashing lights are turned on only during snow removal operations.

Compliance with Regulations

Vehicle owners who do not comply with these regulations are subject to a fine.
