Infrastructure renewal: major contracts awarded

The City of Edmundston has granted $1.6M to local contractors to carry out various infrastructure renewal work within the municipality.

A contract was awarded to Action Plus Inc. which is currently improving the aqueduct and sanitary sewer infrastructure of the Fraser Edmundston Golf Club.

Three other contracts were awarded to Conrad Lavoie et Fils Ltée.:

- Aqueduct and sanitary sewer infrastructures extension on Hubert Street,

- Aqueduct and sewer lines modernization on Antoine-Ouellet Street and

- Aqueduct line section replacement at the Iroquois Well.

Work began mid-May and should be completed by the end of August 2022.

City of Edmundston citizens will be notified of any work updates in due time.
