Upcoming roadwork: week of July 25th

Public Works Department would like to advise motorists that if weather permits, paving work will be completed on Victoria Street between Olivier-Boucher Street and Acadie Boulevard during the week of July 25th.

If possible, please avoid this area during roadwork to avoid traffic jams, especially during rush hours.

Here are some alternative routes for people who must travel in this area:

- for those who must leave Edmundston-North Industrial Park: take Carrier Road towards Highway 2 access ramps or Du Pouvoir Road

- for those who must go to Saint-Jacques, Saint-Joseph, or Olivier-Boucher Street sectors: use Highway 2 and Rivière Madawaska Road

As for aqueduct, sanitary and storm sewer infrastructures replacement and Antoine-Ouellette Avenue paving work, it will continue during the week of July 25^th as well. The Avenue will remain closed to traffic; however, residents of this area will have access to their properties at all time.
