Road construction: June 19th & 20th, 2023 (revised June 19th)

Due to modifications requested by the contractor, paving work will take place on a section of Canada Road, between addresses 681 and 790, on the morning of 19 June. Traffic will be on one lane for the duration of the work, so expect traffic to slow down at this point when travelling. 

On the afternoon of June 19, paving work will be carried out on a section of Du Sommet Street. 

Work scheduled for June 19 on Rossignol Road and Breau Avenue in Edmundston has been postponed to Tuesday, June 20, weather permitting. 

On Tuesday morning, crews will be working on Rossignol Road to spread gravel on the shoulder. Traffic may be slowed at times, but the road will not be closed. 

In the afternoon, crews will be working on Breau Avenue to prepare the roadway for a new asphalt overlay. 

Motorists are asked to follow the signs and slow down near any roadworks. 

Note that work is continuing on boulevard Mgr-Numa-Pichette and at the Skate Plaza.
