One year later: the search continues to find John Michael Fongémie

On January 6th, 2023, the Edmundston Police Force received the report of the disappearance of now 30 years old John Michael Fongémie. He was last seen on January 2nd, 2023, at his home in Edmundston. A year later, the young man has still not given any news to his loved ones, and they still fear for his health and safety.

Mr. Fongémie is white, 5’9” tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds, brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a t-shirt, an orange/brown coat, and brown boots. It is also important to note that Mr. Fongémie has ties to the United States. Investigators are working tirelessly to find John Michael Fongémie safe and sound.

Police members continue to work closely with law enforcement partners and John Michael's loved ones to resolve this matter as quickly as possible.
