*Lions pool temporary closure because of equipment breakage*

The Recreation and Sports Department has no choice but to temporarily close the Lions swimming pool, as of 4 p.m. on Sunday, August 4, due to equipment breakage.

This unforeseen event, which occurs during a heatwave, means that the municipality wanted to offer alternatives to citizens who wish to cool off.

The splash pad at Parc du Berceau, located in St-Basile, is ideal for little ones. For grownups, an agreement was reached with the République Provincial Parc for the duration of the repairs at the Lions swimming pool.

City of Edmundston residents will be able to use the Provincial Park swimming pool as of Monday, August 5, following the Lions swimming pool's current schedule and conditions. You can consult the schedule on the FB Leisure, Sports, and Edmundston Sports Pavilion's page. Please note that laps without reservation will be offered according to the pre-established schedule. The activities of the 3rd wave swimming group will also be offered according to the pre-established schedule.
