Petit-Sault Park

With a surface area of 34 acres, Petit-Sault Park is the largest urban park in Edmundston and includes, among other things, the Bill-Turgeon Stadium, the Tourism Office, a dog park, a children's park, an outdoor pool, a marina, a wooded area, the Petit-Sault Blockhouse, Artisans’ Square, a historic hydroelectric dam, a promenade, a pedestrian bridge, a skate park and located near the Saint John River.

It's an enviable area in the heart of the city of Edmundston, offering interesting development potential. However, certain components have reached the end of their useful life and require replacement or renovation. That's why, in 2023, City Council mandated the specialized firm BC2 to draw up a Master Development Plan.

The new Master Plan sets out ways of improving this jewel of the natural, cultural, and sporting environment, as well as elements that could be incorporated in the short, medium, and long term.

You can consult the full Master Plan by CLICKING HERE. (English version coming soon)

We would also like to hear your comments and suggestions by filling in the short survey below between now and February 29. Thanks to your commitment, we will be able to create spaces and an urban park that will have a positive impact on our quality of life for decades to come!
