Temporary closure of a section of Du Pouvoir Road on June 5th

Due to the replacement and installation of new valves on the existing water system in the Edmundston East sector, residents of the concerned can expect interruptions in the drinking water supply as well as boil water advisories. 

However, to minimize the impact for the duration of this major infrastructure upgrade, homes on Fred-Fournier, Morin, René-Bouchard and Dionne streets will be connected to a temporary water supply. The work to provide this temporary water supply will start on Monday, June 5, and will last approximately one week.

A section of Du Pouvoir Road will be closed to traffic between Carrier and Aubut Streets. Local traffic will, however, be allowed for residents of the area.

Traffic slowdowns may occur, but no street closures are planned.
