Get ready for winter fun: Carnaval en Rafale is back on January 30 and 31, as well as February 1, 2026, and promises a vibrant and colourful edition!
This year, families will be delighted: Mont Farlagne will become the Carnaval's main site, bringing everyone together in a festive, accessible, and lively location.
While Mont Farlagne is at the heart of the action, Carnaval en Rafale will extend throughout Edmundston. Activities will also take place at Bill-Turgeon Stadium, allowing the entire community to enjoy the festive atmosphere.
“Carnaval en Rafale isn’t just a weekend: starting January 23, we’re inviting local restaurants, shops, cafés, artisans, and businesses to get into the Carnival spirit by offering a special deal or something new—whether it’s a themed meal, an exclusive product, or an original idea to keep warm this winter,” explained Maxime Malo, Community Recreation Coordinator for the City of Edmundston.
Thrill-seekers will be thrilled to learn that the Défi des Frileux Challenge is back, with an electrifying atmosphere! Throughout the event, a host of family activities accessible to all will allow young and old alike to fully enjoy the pleasures of winter. Here's the Official Program! Until then, get ready for a weekend filled with laughter, discoveries, and memorable moments!
Carnaval en Rafale is the perfect opportunity to get together, celebrate winter and make Edmundston vibrate!
