The operation was a great success thanks to the commitment, professionalism and excellent teamwork of everyone involved.
Edmundston was officially named the site of Cornu's first Canadian facility in November 2025, beating out other locations the company had been considering.
The first safe route to school will be implemented at the École régionale de Saint-Basile, where it will be in place as early as this fall.
The initiative will rely, in particular, on a widely publicized online survey, accompanied by community outreach activities, engagement in various settings, and a communications campaign.
