Two Individuals Arrested in Connection with Drug Trafficking

On August 24, 2025, NB Integrated Enforcement Unit agents, working with members of the Saint-Léonard RCMP detachment, arrested a 37-year-old woman and a 41-year-old man following the execution of a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

The search was conducted at the female suspect's residence in Saint-Léonard. At the scene, officers seized a considerable quantity of methamphetamine pills and prescription drugs related to trafficking, as well as a sum of cash. Paraphernalia related to the use and sale of illicit substances was also found on the premises.

This intervention is part of an ongoing investigation aimed at countering drug trafficking in the region. The investigation following these arrests is ongoing, and further charges may be laid.

The NB Integrated Enforcement Unit is composed of members of the New Brunswick Public Safety Service, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and members of the New Brunswick Municipal and Regional Police. This unit was established to combat crimes related to drug trafficking and firearms in the province.
