2025 collection calendar available online Friday December 20

Dec 18, 2024

Here is how You can get your 2025 collection calendar :

- Download and print your calendar, according to your postal address, on the City of Edmundston website, in the SERVICES - RECYCLING AND GARBAGE COLLECTION section

- Register for the CSRNO APP which notifies you of your collection day, and which bin(s) to take out (available on Google Play or Apple App Store)

- You will also receive a copy by mail

This year, the format is very simple. Each collection day, which remains the same depending on your address, now displays a green bin (garbage) and blue bin (recycling), indicating what will be collected that day. For example, if your collection day is Monday, you must take out your bin(s), depending on what’s in the date box, on Sunday evening.Special collections, hazardous waste collections, start of summer collections and return to normal collections are also well indicated.

It is important to note that since May 2024, the City of Edmundston now has two calendars (week 1 & week 2) depending on where you live. That way, recycling and garbage bins are collected on the same day.

- Every two weeks (from January to June & from October to December) take out your recycling bin and your garbage bin at the same time, the day before your collection day.

- From June to October, double collections remain every two weeks, but garbage bins are collected every week.

It’s very important to place your bins on each side of your entrance, or at least 2 m from each other, openings towards the street, to facilitate collections made by mechanical arm trucks.

As for collections during the Holiday Season, just take out your bins as usual, and they will be picked up before the weekend.
