Work begins on Mgr-Numa-Pichette Boulevard: a major housing project takes shape in Edmundston

Clearing and excavation work will begin tomorrow, Thursday, July 10, on Mgr-Numa-Pichette Boulevard, marking the start of preparations for the construction of a brand-new 60-unit residential building, with main construction set to begin in August.

This ambitious project, led by B3D2 immobilier inc., is the result of a partnership with several local players, including entrepreneurs Timmy Bossé and Jérôme Bossé, who bring solid expertise in project development. Throughout the project, several local companies will be involved, generating tangible economic benefits for the community and supporting the local economy.

This morning, the partners held a short ceremony to officially launch the work, joined by Edmundston Mayor Éric Marquis, who welcomed this important step toward the project’s realization.

“This kind of initiative shows how our community can take charge of its future by investing in meaningful, forward-looking projects. It’s inspiring to see local entrepreneurs choosing to build here, at home, with confidence in Edmundston’s potential,” said Mayor Marquis.

The project will help address the growing need for housing in the region and is part of a broader effort to revitalize urban spaces and promote thoughtful residential density. Further details on the next phases of the project will be shared in the coming weeks.
