Normal collections to resume as of September 10th

Public Works Department wishes to advise you that as of Sunday September 10th, the garbage and recyclables collection calendar will return to normal for the City of Edmundston. Collections will be made every two weeks, alternately, starting with the garbage collection.

You will be able to drop-off your household hazardous waste on Saturday September 9th, between 9 a.m. and noon, at the Public Works Department (located in République Industrial Park). There are also several places in the area that take back bicycle tires, electronics, leftover paint, oil and antifreeze (RecycleNB).

Special garbage collections are planned for the weeks of October 9th and 16th. Please wait until the weekend BEFORE the special collection to drop off your large items at the curb. In the meantime, you can still fill out the Tipping Fee Waiver Coupon Request Form or call 506.739.2119 to get rid of excess garbage.

As for leaves, branches, and grass, you can bring them to the Green Waste Collection site, located on Titus Road.
