Three individuals arrested in connection with catalytic converter theft

In Edmundston, during the night of January 9th, 2023, Investigations Section and Street Crimes Section, with the assistance of Edmundston Police Force patrol officers, arrested three individuals while stealing a car catalytic converter.

A 51-year-old man and two 22-year-old men were charged with mischief and appeared briefly before a Provincial Court judge. They will be held until their next appearance on January 12th, 2023, for their release hearing. The investigation is ongoing.

Edmundston Police Force, as well as several Police Forces in the provinces of New Brunswick and Quebec, are investigating this scourge which has been going on for several months.
